Nathaniel Bryant

Dr. Nathaniel Bryant is the Associate Director of the University of Northern Iowa Metal Casting Center & Foundry 4.0 Center. Nate is a three time graduate from the University of Northern Iowa, earning a combination of degrees in Metal Casting, Education, and Technology. He is a member of several American Foundry Society (AFS) technical committees, with active involvement in the molding and additive manufacturing divisions. Currently, he also serves as Treasurer of the local AFS Hawkeye Chapter. In 2023, Dr. Bryant was the recipient of the AFS Additive Manufacturing Award of Technical Merit & Division Best Paper Award. Most of his published works pertain to the advancement of Industry 4.0 technologies for the foundry industry, with particular emphasis on additive manufacturing and the Industrial Internet of Things.
