As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, both the UNI Metal Casting and Additive Manufacturing Centers continue to remain open. We are grateful that our student employees at both centers have been able to continue working and gaining industry experience throughout this uncertain time. Our team has been maintaining preventative measures to slow the spread of the virus. This includes constantly wearing face masks, maintaining a safe distance from coworkers, and continuously sanitizing each work area.
We have made the following decisions to ensure our employees and clients are kept safe and healthy. First, we are temporarily suspending center organized industry visits at this time. Our 3D printing summer camp for kids has been canceled, but we are exploring the possibility of a virtual camp. Also, the events planned for the 30th anniversary of the center have been placed on hold.
